This notice explains how Open Grove LLC handles personal data on opengrovelabs.com and when you email us. Each of our apps, including Hilm, has its own privacy policy, which we publish before the app launches.

What this website collects
This website has no accounts or forms, and we don’t use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies of our own.
When you load a page, our hosting provider processes the technical information that every web request contains, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. It uses this information to deliver the site and protect it from attacks, and it may set a strictly necessary security cookie to filter automated traffic.
When you email us
If you write to us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. We use them only to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation. Our email provider stores these messages for us.
Why we use it
We process this information to run and secure the website and to answer your messages. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in doing those things (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), and, when you ask us for something, taking the steps you requested (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Who we share it with
We don’t sell personal data or share it for advertising. We share it only with the hosting and email providers described above, who process it on our behalf, or when the law requires it.
Where it is processed
Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. When data leaves the European Union or the United Kingdom, we rely on the safeguards the law provides, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Our hosting provider keeps request logs for a short period under its own policies. We keep emails for as long as we need them to deal with your request and to keep a record of it, and then we delete them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- see the personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- have it corrected or deleted;
- object to or limit how we use it.
To use any of these rights, email privacy@opengrovelabs.com. We reply within one month. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will update it here and change the date at the top.
